We are recruiting for the Campus Dean for the new Chicago-area campus of a established college of nursing. This campus is under development, and will offer a bachelor's degree in nursing when approved.
The Campus Dean:
* Is responsible for the overall administration of the nursing school campus, including the management of faculty, staff, and academic programs
* Reports to the President and works in collaboration with the Dean of Nursing Programs
* Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, leadership, managerial, and organizational skills
* Possesses high level oral and written communication skills
* Shows sound judgment plus high levels of initiative and problem-solving skills
Depending on educational background and experience, the Campus Dean may be eligible for academic rank.
b>Mandatory Requirements
* Master's degree in Nursing; doctorate or doctoral-level coursework in nursing preferred
* Five years experience as a registered nurse
* At least two years full-time experience as a faculty member in a professional (RN or higher) nursing education program and/or higher education administration
* Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Illinois
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in educational administration
* Experience with web-based educational programs
- Active and unencumbered RN license in Illinois
