The Nursing Interim Program Chair of this well known postsecondary institution is responsible for managing the Associate of Science in Nursing Program while the program expands their locations.
The Nursing Interim Program Chair will be responsible for developing an in-depth understanding of the state's nursing board including rules and regulations, application requirements, meeting dates and timelines, agenda and procedural processes, policies involving the implementation of nursing programs, and site visit requirements.
The work begins as a part-time consultant position, with a flat fee paid per month, and the opportunity to become permanent Program Chair, full time, once the program is formally established.
* active and unrestricted RN license in Florida
* Graduate degree in Nursing is mandatory (MSN, Ph.D, DNSc, or Ed.D in Nursing Education)
* Minimum of three years full time teaching experience in an approved school of nursing
* Experience in nursing education administration strongly preferred- RN in Florida
