  • Our client, a medical and behavioral health call center which provides 24/7 telephonic services on behalf of health plans and provider organizations, is seeking a Clinical RN Call Center Supervisor. This position oversees the routine operations of the call center and directly supervises the clinical staff. The Clinical RN Call Center Supervisor will review clinical information, assist in developing policies and procedures, and maintain quality standards for the operation.

    The Clinical RN Call Center Supervisor must have a strong clinical nursing background, experience in managed care, and knowledge of medical information systems, claims processing, and managed care benefits (preferably Medicaid). Some supervisory or team leadership experience is required. Call center experience is preferred. Some behavioral health background is helpful.

    • 3-5 years experience in clinical nursing
    • 3 years experience in managed care
    • Knowledge of medical information systems, medical claims processing, medical terminology, and benefits in a managed care plan
    • At least 1 year experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
    • 1-3 years experience in a call center environment preferred
    • Experience in behavioral health desirable

     

  • Active and unrestricted RN license in Texas
