Our client, a large managed care organization, is seeking a RN Quality Management Coordinator to be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of continuous quality improvement activities for their program in NY. In conjunction with organizational management, the RN Quality Management Coordinator will establish quality improvement indicators for its member services, provide quality management education to all departments, and assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory and accrediting organizations.
An LPN with extensive experience in quality improvement may also be considered for this position. -
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Associates degree in nursing or related field required; BSN preferred
- 2-3 years experience in quality improvement, risk management, appeals and/or utilization review in a managed care setting required
- Knowledge of local and national QM and regulatory standards preferred, including NCQA and HEDIS reporting required
- Strong background in appeals required
- CPHQ preferred

Active and unrestricted RN license in NY required; LPN-licensed candidates with appropriate experience will also be considered
